Studio Luna Mission Statement
To collaboratively shape stories by and about women of color that connect, liberate, transform, and are designed to animate actions that eradicate oppression.
Studio Luna Strategic Vision
Studio Luna is rooted in creating artistic and collaborative opportunities for storytellers and creatives. The collective is charged with building a culture for women of color where running towards risk is possible and where healing through creative practice allows us to be irreverently free of the fear of failure.
Studio Luna Values
It is through a shared-leadership philosophy that we hold sacred a brave space for risk-taking, radical transformation, and healing internally as an ensemble. We came to understand this starting in 2016 when we began to develop new values for Teatro Luna West. In late 2021 we went through a new strategic planning process for Studio Luna and officially adopted a new set of core values (beautifully illustrated by Yocelyn Riojas) that came with clarity during the pandemic. We share them because we hope they resonate and that by sharing, we help our community keep us accountable.
