Studio Luna Storefront
Bright creative storefront designed for collaborative work and social events. Our 1,080 square foot space is located in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. This Creative Storefront was built to be transformable, our detailed open-concept design is ideal for small events including auditions, meetings, film and photo shoots, read-throughs, classes, rehearsals, gallery exhibitions, social events or professional workshops.
Welcome to our open-concept space crafted to inspire a fresh atmosphere for any of your event needs. We have imbued a warmth and a casual culture for the space because we believe this will provide the most flexibility to bring to life any experience you are trying to develop for your guests or team. Our creative studio storefront is ever changing and growing as we continue to develop its resources and aesthetic.
The entrance is designed as a lobby or office and meeting space, but can convert easily to something else. In the backstage space there are work desks, a bathroom, and a kitchenette with a small fridge, wine cooler, and microwave. We have instagram walls and moments that you can tailor.
You will also find a working tech space where you can control audio to your liking. Upon request, we have an array of theatrical lighting equipment as well as photo and film standing lights or mounted paper or fabric backdrops for additional fees.
We love our neighborhood where you will find theatres, community centers, and mom and pop shops with delicious foods within walking distance. Just .3 miles from the Metro Gold Line, we are accessible from most areas of LA. We come equipped with seating for 50, white boards, lights, microphones, speakers, tables, multiple fans and all other materials necessary for your work. The front area has two large windows and a glass door with curtains. The brightest time of the day is the afternoon.

There is a small recording area in the back of the space that is set up for small sessions, but is not completely soundproof.

Our front door opens to First street, which can be busy during the day. You can hear people having conversations on the sidewalk in front of the space. There is a small recording area that has soundproofing.

There are 3 steps leading inside from the back door.

The front door is ground level and the back door has three steps. There is a loading area by the back entrance, loading trucks can be parked in one of our parking spots. Quick loading and unloading can also happen through our front entrance

Furniture cannot leave the building, but can be moved in any manner as long as it is returned to its original position at the end of rental. The same applies to wall decorations.
