Coming in 2023

We seek wholeness, to mend the broken pieces of our histories and bodies. This original audio experience created by Studio Luna explores the mental, physical and spiritual consequences of transgenerational trauma, violence, and the cultural inequalities that are detrimental to our collective health.

In 2017, filled with rage and the need for change, Lovesick was created as a response to what then felt like the end of sanity and logic as we knew it. The ensemble was experimenting with lovesickness as the resulting state of being after generations of abuse called love coming in all forms of behaviors and expectations from our friends, partners, families, and our society. Today, years later, and hundreds of days into a global pandemic, Studio Luna revisits LOVESICK  having collectively mourned, resisted, and survived the complexities of our American lives during these changing times. 

This is an audio adaptation of our original play of the same title, originally workshopped at the Destinos International Latinx Theatre Festival in Chicago 2017.
