Spring Reading List: All Things Collaboration

May 15th, 2024 | By Alexandra Meda & Maya Malan-Gonzalez

Whatever your relationship to reading, there are some foundational texts with concepts, tools, and frameworks that might serve you in almost every area of your life. And friends, each one of these books falls aggressively into this category.

Whether you are just starting your journey into artistic collaboration— or further down the rabbit hole of collective creation— or simply trying to create better meetings, teams, or gatherings, these are some of our most weathered and favorite books that we pull out almost embarrassingly often. Some have even seeped into our bones.

As adrienne maree brown says, “We are in an imagination battle,” and from Luna’s perspective, that battle is won in part by developing an acutely powerful skillset that is best honed through collective practice and the journey of becoming a rockstar collaborator. So dig into the deliciousness of some of our best friends below.

Happy Learning, Nerds!

If you check out only two things from this list, might we point you in the direction of IDEAS ARRANGEMENTS EFFECTS by Design Studio For Social Intervention (free pdf link included— we gotchu boo) and The Art Of Gathering by Priya Parker of Together Apart Podcast.
